Celebrating In Our Ancestors’ Footsteps

On February 15, 2024, Metro Art presented a celebration in the Los Angeles Union Station Waiting Room of the exhibition, “Where You Stand: Chinatown 1880 to 1939”. Exhibition partners Huntington-USC Institute of California and the West and CHSSC were present along with several descendants of the families connected to the exhibition. The event started out with a traditional lion dance by East Wind Foundation and included exhibition walk-throughs.
