Reception will Kick Off CAM’s Lightscapes

Join the Chinese American Museum for the opening reception of the Lightscapes: Re-envisioning the Shanshuihua (Chinese landscape painting) exhibition on Thursday, Feb. 7, 7-9 p.m., featuring new media works and immersive light-based installations from contemporary Taiwanese artists Nick Dong and Wu Chi Tsung.

Inspired by the techniques and philosophies of Chinese landscape ink paintings, the exhibition brings forward new interpretations using art-based methodologies to expand interest towards Chinese landscape ink painting across new audiences.

The event is open to the public free of charge and takes place at museum, 425 N. Los Angeles St.
