Explore the history of Union Station and Chinatown through the stories of women, such as Arcola Philpott, the first African American and the first woman to be hired by the Los Angeles Railway, Esther Wong, the “Godmother of Punk,” and the Harvey Girls, the country’s first national corp of independent women working in the 1800s to 1900s.
