YCAH – Youths for Chinese American History
Discovering, Preserving and Sharing the History of Chinese in America
For more information, contact chssc@hotmail.com.

Youths for Chinese American History (YCAH) is a student-run project of the Chinese Historical Society of Southern California (CHSSC) and they work to help the CHSSC preserve and promote Chinese American history in order to help produce a counter-narrative to Western history. YCAH is based in Chinatown and they offer community service hours as well as internships. Interns and volunteers will work on the various projects that the CHSSC offers. In the past, interns and volunteers have worked on the organization of the CHSSC’s archival room, the formation of an Asian American library, and the restoration of our two Victorian houses which also serves as our office.
